About
Who we are, how we earn, and how we check.
Peptide Atlas publishes source-linked guides to peptide research and product categories, and documentation reviews of consumer products, written in plain English for readers in the United States.
Who we are
Peptide Atlas is an independent editorial project. Guides and reviews are published under the organization byline Peptide Atlas Editorial rather than under an individual's name.
The legal name and contact details of the site's operator appear on this page, under “Who runs this site”, once they have been added. Until then, the contact form is the way to reach us.
What we publish
- Guides that explain product categories, published research and regulatory status, with numbered sources, a last-checked date and an update log.
- Documentation reviews of finished consumer products, which check what a maker publishes and record what we could and could not confirm.
- Comparisons of products in the same category, using the same criteria for each, with no overall winner.
We write for curious adults. Regulatory statements refer to the United States unless a page says otherwise. We do not give doses, protocols or personal medical advice; see the medical disclaimer.
How pages are made, including AI
Guides and reviews are researched and drafted with AI assistance, and every page says so in its byline. AI output is never treated as a source. Each source we cite is opened and checked against the claim it supports before publication, and identifiers such as PubMed IDs, DOIs and trial registry numbers are copied from the source itself.
No page on this site has had an expert or medical review unless that page names the reviewer, with the date and the scope of the review. A reviewer's name is never added for appearance. The editorial policy describes the full process.
How we earn
Today, we don't. Peptide Atlas has no affiliate commissions, sponsorships, paid placements or advertising, and no company has paid for coverage, a review or a position on a page. Our links to products go to official websites, and we are not paid for them.
If that changes, the affiliate disclosure and the advertising policy will be updated first, and every affected page will disclose the relationship before the first paid link.
Independence rules
- A commercial relationship, now or in the future, cannot change evidence ratings, review findings, criteria or the order of products.
- Companies cannot review, approve or edit our pages before or after publication.
- We include options that pay us nothing, and we cover products on the same terms whether or not their makers have contacted us.
- Evidence ratings describe research for one claim in one product form. They are not safety ratings or recommendations.
What you will not find here
There are no reader accounts, no comments section, no newsletter and no advertising, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies for readers. Our privacy policy explains the little information we do handle, mainly messages sent through the contact form.
