Advertising policy

Peptide Atlas shows no advertising and no sponsored content today. These are the rules any future advertising would have to follow.

Version 1.0 · Effective

No advertising today

There are no ads, sponsored articles, sponsored placements, or advertising trackers on this site, and no advertiser has paid for coverage or for a position on any page.

How advertising would be labelled

If we introduce advertising or sponsorship:

  • Every ad or sponsored placement will be labelled Advertisement or Sponsored, where you can see the label before you interact with it.
  • Ads will not be designed to look like our guides, reviews, or comparisons, and they will not use our editorial labels or evidence ratings.
  • Sponsored placements are separate from affiliate links, which carry their own Paid link label (see the affiliate disclosure).

Advertisers have no editorial control

Advertisers and sponsors cannot review, approve, or change our guides and reviews, before or after publication. Buying an ad does not buy coverage, a review, a better rating, or the removal of criticism. We decide what to cover, and every product is assessed with the same methodology.

Advertising we will not accept

  • Ads for research-use peptides or other materials marketed for people to take, and ads that give doses, protocols, or usage instructions.
  • Ads that make health claims without competent and reliable scientific evidence for that specific product — the standard the Federal Trade Commission describes in its Health Products Compliance Guidance.
  • Ads that suggest a product is approved, cleared, or endorsed by a regulator, a clinician, or Peptide Atlas when it is not.
  • Before-and-after images, promises of results, countdown timers, or other false urgency.
  • Ads that collect health information, or that target people across other websites based on what they read here.

No intrusive formats

We will not use overlays that must be clicked before you can read a page, exit pop-ups, or anything that hides content until you respond to an offer.

Advertising and privacy

If any advertising would need cookies or similar technology, it would stay off until you opt in, and our privacy policy and cookie policy would be updated before it starts.
