What we publish

Peptide Atlas publishes source-linked guides to peptide research and product categories, documentation reviews of consumer products, and comparisons. We write in plain US English for curious adults. Regulatory statements refer to the United States unless a page says otherwise.

Our pages explain what published research and official documents say. They do not tell you whether a product is right for you — see our medical disclaimer.

Bylines and expert review

Guides and reviews are published under the organization byline Peptide Atlas Editorial, not under an individual’s name. You can read more about who we are on the about page.

No page on this site has had an expert or medical review unless that page names the reviewer. If a qualified reviewer checks a page in the future, we will name them and say what they reviewed and when. A reviewer’s name is never added for a fee or for appearance.

How we use AI

AI tools assist with research and drafting: finding candidate sources, summarizing them, and preparing drafts. Every guide and review says so in its byline.

AI output is never treated as a source. Before a source is cited, it is opened and checked against the specific claim it supports, and identifiers such as PubMed IDs, DOIs, and trial registry numbers are copied from the source itself. A claim that cannot be traced to an opened source is not published.

Sources and evidence

We prefer primary sources: PubMed records and journal articles, clinical trial registry entries, regulator documents, and official product labels. Sources are numbered in the text and listed at the end of each page.

We keep evidence types apart. Each finding says whether it comes from studies in people, in animals, or in cells, and which product form and route was studied — a topical cream, an oral supplement, and an injected drug are not interchangeable, and evidence for one is not applied to another. Evidence ratings apply to one claim in one form, never to a molecule as a whole, and they are not safety ratings. Our methodology explains the scale.

What we do not publish

  • Doses, schedules, protocols, or instructions for preparing or using any research peptide or drug.
  • Personal medical advice, or answers to personal medical questions.
  • Promises of results, or more certainty than the evidence supports.
  • Claims of product analysis we did not perform. Our reviews assess public documentation and supplier policies; unless a review says otherwise, we did not independently analyze a product sample.
  • Before-and-after photos, or images that suggest a medical result.

Independence and conflicts of interest

We have no commercial relationship with any product or supplier mentioned on this site: no affiliate commissions, no sponsorships, and no advertising. Our links to products go to official websites, and we are not paid for them.

If that changes, a commercial relationship will not influence evidence ratings, review findings, or the criteria we use, and it will be disclosed on every page where it applies. See the affiliate disclosure and the advertising policy.

Updates and re-checks

Every guide and review shows when it was last checked and keeps a dated update log that says what happened: a routine check, an update, a correction, or a re-check of regulatory status. A new date means something was actually re-checked, not only that text was edited.

Guides and reviews in our Therapeutics Explained and Research Peptides sections are scheduled for a re-check every 30 days, and those in all other sections every 90 days. Regulatory status is stated per product, form, route, and country, with the date it was checked. Changes across the site are listed on research updates.

Corrections

If you find an error, use the contact form and choose Editorial correction. Include the page’s content ID (PA-####, shown at the end of every guide and review) and tell us what the source says.

We check every report against the sources. A material correction is made on the page and recorded in its update log with the date and a short description, and it is listed on our corrections page. We do not silently change a finding.
